The only material that can possess all of the above characteristics is probably rubber-plastic insulation material, which is a high-grade insulation material specially designed and produced for HVAC, refrigeration and other industrial applications.
Chilong high-end rubber-plastic insulation material is made of vulcanized foaming, with uniform foaming, high closed cell rate, fine pores, elastic feel, and the number of independent pores per unit area is 4 to 10 times that of ordinary rubber and plastic. At an average temperature of 0°C, its thermal conductivity is only 0.035W/(m·k), and its thermal insulation performance is excellent. B1 grade flame retardant, good fire resistance, and high safety index. The moisture resistance factor is as high as 8000 or more, with strong resistance to water vapor penetration and long service life. The material is soft and easy and quick to install.
Rubber-plastic insulation material not only does not contain formaldehyde, dust and fiber, is green and environmentally friendly, but also has mildew and antibacterial functions. Therefore, in the actual construction of central air conditioning, we should choose insulation materials with good thermal conductivity, excellent fire resistance, strong resistance to water vapor penetration, and convenient construction.
What should be noted?
The most important thing is to choose a regular manufacturer and purchase through regular channels. During installation, the following rules must be strictly followed:
1. All gaps and joints must be sealed with special glue.
2. After installation, all tees, elbows, valves, flanges and other accessories must reach the designed thickness.
3. Do not use too much force when bonding with glue, and the interfaces between all materials should be bonded under slight squeezing.
4. When installing, large pipes should be installed first, small pipes second, elbows and tees first, straight pipes second, and valves and flanges last.
5. When installing chilled water pipes and refrigeration equipment, both ends of the rubber and plastic pipes and the gaps between the iron pipes must be glued together, and the bonding width should not be equal to the thickness of the rubber and plastic materials.
